American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) offers powerful backing and financial support to business clients of all sizes. The GCS Small Business Marketing team strives to provide our customers with the world’s best customer experience every day to ensure that we are essential partners to our clients and win the full share of their business.

The Strategic Growth & Insights team within the Small Business Customer Growth Marketing team develops integrated marketing strategies across channels delivering customer value through meaningful interactions at every touch to drive deepened relationships and long-term engagement amongst our existing customers.

The Senior Analyst will support the offer Strategy and lead the cross-channel implementation for of Business Line of Credit (BLOC) and Business Checking Account (BCA) products. These beyond the card small financial solutions are fundamental to the business and are proven levers for acquiring new customers, deepening relationships and accelerating revenue. We seek to provide the right welcome offer to the right customer at the right time through a personalized offer experience, and evolving and optimizing this strategy will be an integral part of our growth.

The Senior Analyst of BLOC & BCA Offers Strategy will support the multi-layered marketing strategy across channels and act as a critical link between analytics, product, and the broader customer and prospect marketing teams. This person will provide strategic, data-driven insights to grow the business and better meet the needs of our small business customers. The Sr. Analyst will also support Offer Strategy and partnering with key stakeholders to project the anticipated impact of offers, monitor ongoing offer performance and assess post-performance across both products. The ideal candidate will partner cross-functionally across various teams including Channel Marketers, Product Management, Risk, Analytics, GCO, and Finance.

Responsibilities include:

  •        Support the development and delivery of integrated marketing strategies to deepen and profitably grow revenue for our suite of banking products
  •        Project manage and oversee implementation and performance of BCA and BLOC treatments and offer strategies across marketing channels
  •        Collaborate closely with Analytics to articulate opportunities to support and grow the initiatives, ideate new offer constructs, and ensure all cross-functional partners are aligned
  •        Partner with Product, Product Development, Channel Partners and Risk Partners owners to lead, test and ensure consistent strategy roll-out
  •        Create and maintain BCA/BLOC Offer Hub including maintaining excellent documentation of historical and future offers, track and analyze results centrally; making it an essential destination for all those who market these products.
  •        Bring together key stakeholders across channel marketing teams, analytics, and product on a recurring basis to create consistencies, brainstorm, ensure input and alignment

Minimum Qualifications:

  •          Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail; able to juggle multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and operate effectively and compliantly
  •          A strong customer first strategist with demonstrated ability to drive innovation and change to unlock growth opportunities for our customers and AXP
  •          Outstanding organizational skills: ability to clearly outline detailed next steps, while ensuring the overarching “big picture” goal is not lost
  •          Demonstrated background in Marketing with proven ability to develop innovative customer treatments that result in increased customer engagement and loyalty
  •          General knowledge of marketing channels
  •          Robust analytical skills: Has the ability to draw insights and into an actionable recommendation to drive results, challenge the status quo, and promote innovation
  •          Strong relationship building skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners
  •          Comfort in working in Power Point and Excel
  •          1-2 years of Marketing /PMO experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  •          Positive energy and enthusiasm with a “can-do” attitude and sense of humor
  •          Prior experience in supporting or working on marketing strategy or execution is preferred
  •          Exemplary communication skills; shares updates and insights clearly and frequently

 

 

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
