Staff+ Product Designer

Arc is the future of startup finance.

Arc helps startups grow through its integrated cash management and capital markets platform. With Arc, companies don't need to choose between safety, liquidity, and returns — they get all three in one software platform.

Startups can access venture debt and working capital, deposit funds into FDIC insurance eligible accounts held at leading banks, and invest idle cash in insured cash sweeps ($5M FDIC insurance eligibility), Money Market Funds, and U.S. Treasury Bills that generate up to ~5.4% APY (as of 1/30/24).

We are seeking a Staff or Principal Product Designer to join the Arc team. Very open on leveling, from early career - senior. You will work directly alongside the founding team to help Arc reinvent startup financing through tech.

  • Lead design and user experience for significant parts of our product; contribute to the design process from prioritization through launch

  • Ability to make informed design decisions and articulate them simply.

  • Have experience designing and shipping a web/app product for a variety of devices and platforms.

  • 7+ years designing and shipping software.

  • Understand when less design is the better design.

  • Have a strong design aesthetic.

  • Understand the trade-offs between speed and quality as it applies to your designs.

  • Help define product requirements and design features in accordance with our roadmap.

  • Craft high-fidelity visuals, prototypes, and specifications for your final design solutions.

  • Participate in design reviews to share your work regularly with the design and company leadership.

  • Work with Engineering to ensure quality implementation and user experience.

  • The ability to define and deliver design solutions that are both simple and powerful.
