  • Every other weekend & every other holiday
  • $20.00/hour

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook II to join our culinary team in Gaithersburg, MD. As a Cook II, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

  • Follow recipes and production sheets accurately, documenting any necessary adjustments.
  • Prepare pan garnishes for front-of-house operations with attention to detail and presentation.
  • Set up and organize steam tables according to diagrams, ensuring timely and efficient meal service.
  • Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures throughout meal service, adhering to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and consistent food quality.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all sanitation protocols.
  • Contribute to menu planning and suggest improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience as a grill cook or line cook, preferably in a healthcare setting, required.
