Pay Rate: $15.57

Job Description

The Health Commons is looking to hire community health workers who are fluent in English and Somali to help implement Infant Health Initiatives. The work included would be assisting with interpretation for prenatal and infant health education classes, community birth celebrations, safe sleep classes, weekly movement classes, and other opportunities.

The Health Commons is located near Augsburg University; address is:

B Building 1st floor
1600 S. 6th Street
Minneapolis 55454

Most of the hours are Thursday evenings 5 to 7 PM and occasional Fridays during the daytime hours. 

Qualifications

  • Must be fluent in Somali and English
  • Must have availability on Thursday evenings from 5pm to 7pm, and some Fridays during daytime hours
