As a Regional Sales Manager, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of Infusion Systems products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. Our customers trust you and appreciate your knowledge and curiosity when finding solutions to meet their needs. You enjoy being on location, building impactful relationships with your sales team, and establishing trust in the field with the doctors and nurses who use Baxter solutions every day.

In this position you will have responsibility for managing a team of Infusion Systems Territory Managers with responsibility for the tactical/operational daily activities of the sales team in leading the team to exceed the Infusion Therapies and Technologies expectations. This team is responsible for the sale of large volume infusion pumps, syringe pumps, accessories as well as software upgrades and extended Service packages to hospitals throughout the region. Region Coverage: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina


What you'll be doing:

  • Achieving sales quotas through the direct sale of the company's products or services. Implement sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives
  • Supporting the IS Territory Managers with prospective customers, delivering effective sales presentations, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quoting appropriate customer prices
  • Providing feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel for the development of marketing policy, recommending product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes
  • Promoting the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities
  • Preparing annual regional sales forecasts, sales against forecasts and participating in the determination of market potential for the region
  • Contacting major accounts to ensure customer satisfaction within assigned region
  • Directing staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program
  • Partnering with sales support, training, marketing and R&D in activities such as sales promotion, training or market research in planning and executing special projects


What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 7+ years of healthcare sales experience. Prior Capital equipment sales experience preferred
  • 5+ years of sales management experience within medical device/healthcare space preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies and good organization/time management skills
  • Ability to understand and adapt to customer changing needs is essential
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of sales processes as well as leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to travel as it's required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $128,000 to $252,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for commission and long-term incentive. For questions about this, our pay philosophy, and available benefits, please speak to the recruiter if you decide to apply and are selected for an interview.
