Our growing and dynamic creative team is now looking for an Experiential Designer who will be responsible for the creation of the assets required to transform creative ideas into tangible experiences through 2D and 3D elements, from conceptual and schematic to final build drawings and files. you will work with and report to the Executive Creative who will ensure that the designs meet project objectives and company standards.

 

What a day in the life will look like:

  • Be responsible for the development of 3D computer-generated concept renderings, photo-composites, hand-drawn sketches, and graphics to communicate design and experiential intent working closely with Creative Strategist and Producers to develop scalable designs that align  budgetary requirements.
  • Create scaled/dimensioned diagrams, drawings, 3D models, etc. to clearly illustrate project needs.
  • Support design leads and team members and drive the design process.
  • Consult with and present to clients as needed – helping to map out campaign strategies and tactics, design ideas, and directions to meet client objectives.
  • Participate in project brainstorms.
  • Work closely with the Senior Designer and Creative Director to explore, refine, and select a creative direction for each project.
  • Generate a range of concepts to present to the Senior Designer and Creative Director at the start of each project.
  • Work closely with Experiential team to develop concepts for clients in presale and create visually arresting representations of these concepts to sell the idea through.
  • Work with the Production Director and Senior Designer to design décor elements that meet safety standards, can be produced efficiently, and can be installed and de-installed safely and on time.

You must have:

  • Experience in 3D modeling, environmental design and graphic design.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an industry utilizing spatial design.
  • BA or equivalent required in design focused major (architecture, industrial design, 3D).
  • High proficiency in:
    • Mac OS
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
    • SketchUp and/or 3D modeling/visualization software (SketchUp preferred) Enscape / AutoCAD
    • Keynote and Google Collabs
  • Strong conceptual abilities (developing ideas/concepts individually and as part of a team)
  • Strong client service, self-motivation and time management skills required.
  • Must be an effective project leader, a clear communicator and consensus builder, highly organized, very detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Adept at working independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have an elevated and culturally relevant design aesthetic.
