Job Description

  • As a UX/UI Designer for Connected Products, you will take on a supportive role in designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our innovative hardware and software solutions in the IoT and AI domains.
  • Your contributions will help enhance the overall user experience of our connected products. Your primary focus will be on creating seamless interactions that enhance the user experience of connected products.
  • In addition, you will collaborate closely with engineers and fellow designers to bring your design concepts to life, focusing on connected interaction design, UI elements and prototyping.
  • Your enthusiasm for seamless interaction and UI design will be essential as you contribute to the development of user interfaces that are not only functional but also delightful to use.
  • Moreover, you will work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure that your designs align with technical feasibility and user needs.
  • You will thrive as part of an open-minded, interdisciplinary team of designers and technology professionals. Utilizing a modern toolchain, you will enjoy working both remotely and on-site.

Qualifications

  • Education: studies in the field of UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction or comparable
  • Experience and Knowledge: familiarity with interaction design principles, UI design and prototyping is essential; experience with design tools such as Figma, ProtoPie or similar software as well as knowledge of natural user interfaces and multimodal experiences is a plus, any background or skills in engineering will be considered a significant advantage
  • Personality and Working Practice: you are a creative, motivated and reliable teamplayer with good communication skills and you are able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, focusing on user needs and design excellence
  • Languages: fluent in English, German is an advantage

Additional Information

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months – 10 h/week
