About You

You are a seasoned family law attorney with at least 5 years of experience, driven by a passion for advocacy and a commitment to excellence. You’re ready to elevate your career within a highly respected firm, bring or build your own book of business, and work on complex, high-impact cases.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage & grow your own book of business while working on the firm’s existing high-level caseload.
  • Oversee complex family law cases from client intake through final resolution (litigation, settlement, or ADR).
  • Draft, review, and organize discovery documents, conduct legal research, and represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Support the firm’s robust ADR and Collaborative Divorce practice.
  • Actively participate in legal organizations, including Houston Young Lawyers, HBA-Family Law Section, and Inns of Court.
  • Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in all client interactions.

What You Bring

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas.
  • At least 5+ years of family law experience handling high-conflict and high-net-worth cases.
  • Exceptional drafting, research, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict-resolution skills in emotionally charged situations.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to last-minute changes.
