Job Summary
A hybrid role that combines several duties and areas: Spares management, Logistics and Health and Safety for the technical and maintenance operations.

Responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of the Environment Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS) which complies to CAE’s policies, legislations, contracts, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Coordinates and executes day to day logistics duties and operations
Manages shipping, receiving and handling of parts and consumables
Researches and identifies new vendors, OEM’s, repair service providers and contractors Handles the purchasing requisitions for parts and materials

Analyzes and manages spares stock and availability, coordinate and follows up on repairs
Performs inventory checks, transaction verification and provides variance reports
Ensures adherence to established CMS (FSTD manual)

Manages and monitors Environment, Health and Safety
Conduct and/or support audits and inspections related to EHS for all CAE sites. The EHS Officer/BPO will raise/or support the closure of corrective actions against those situations where there are dangers or non-conformances
Handles storage and manipulation of hazardous materials and substances
Lead the EHS management review and other review as directed by laws, policy and contract.
Implements and follows up on EH&S processes and procedure changes, LFI, LFE, etc.
Evaluates applicability and manages implementation of simulator FSB’s

Performs periodic checks and verification on tools and equipment as per EH&S procedures Monitors and coordinates tools and equipment calibration and certification activities
Coordinates and follows on maintenance service requests for facility equipment related to the simulator operations

Coordinates and follows up on 5S initiatives, ensures clean and efficient workspace
Foster awareness of LFEs and Lessons learned.
Act as the specialist and provide technical expertise, develop/update policies and procedures, and support all the sites on any questions on conformance to company or official regulations on HSE; and liaise with HSE CAE Global representatives, as required.
Leads and participates in improvement projects
