We believe the combination of our unique culture, total compensation, workplace flexibility and care for the team is unmatched across not just beauty but any industry.Position SummaryThe Inventory Planning Manager is responsible for developing and implementing data driven SKU level inventory targets and key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the inventory targets. In addition, the Inventory Planning Manager will be responsible for collaborating with cross functional partners to ensure our inventory plans enable the business to succeed.Responsibilities:• Creating and maintaining data driven inventory targets at the SKU/DC level• Identify and develop Inventory optimization strategies that optimize service, working capital, manufacturing capacity, and network space• Develop flow and storage projections for elf distribution network• Develop working capital projections in rolling monthly buckets• Developing, implementing, and maintaining key performance indicators for inventory planning• Lead supply chain strategy projects that create efficiency, reduce cost, and improve service• Build ad hoc reports for supply chain planning functions to help improve planning processes and communications• Establish best practices for supply chain planning with counter parts in demand planning and supply planningRequirements:• 2 to 6 years’ experience within Inventory Planning, Supply Planning, or Supply Chain Analytics• Operations experience in a cosmetics or CPG manufacturing company of relevant size and complexity; >$50 million revenue, high-SKU, national distribution, big box retail customer base, and rapidly changing product line / SKU mix• Demonstrated experience creating, implementing, and leading cross-functional business processes from a starting point of limited maturity and sophistication; experience managing cross-functional teams. Nimble and entrepreneurial in nature• Extensive knowledge of Supply Chain KPI’s and how to bring data together to report them• Experience implementing Inventory Planning for a company with a large SKU mix with complex product lifecycles, including incrementally, cannibalization, and volume recapture• Bachelor’s degree minimum, advance degree preferred• Strong working knowledge of planning process within CPG, fashion, or seasonal products• High drive for results and willing to work in a demanding & rapid paced environment• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written• Excellent analytical, follow-up, and attention to detail skills• Ability to work autonomously across functions to meet deadlines and drive tasks to completion• System implementation experience a plus• Excellent Excel Skills and knowledge• SQL experience preferred• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word and PowerPoint)This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this position.
