Our vision is a just, prosperous world in which global warming is limited to 1.5C. We are looking for a Finance & Operations Manager, to join our People + Operations team. This role is a 3 day per week position and reports to the COO.
This is a mission critical role that helps us build seamless, smart, and compliant operations for our organisation. The overall remit of this role is to:

Compensation + Benefits
Pay is competitive in all hiring regions. If the candidate is US based, the starting salary for this role is $85,000 at the full time rate, pro-rated to $51,000 for 3 days per week.
Other regional starting salaries can be shared based on applicant location.

Climate Catalyst is on the hunt for a talented Finance & Operations Manager to become an integral part of our People + Operations team! This fully remote position is designed for individuals who can adapt and collaborate across various time zones, with flexibility for those located +/- 5 hours of GMT. As our Finance & Operations Manager, you will take charge of key aspects of financial management, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting. Your expertise will also extend to managing our domestic and international payroll and external finance partners. Operating within a mission-driven organization, you'll ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently, while being compliant with US 501(c)3 financial reporting requirements. This role includes developing budget forecasting tools, overseeing bookkeeping processes, and liaising with our fundraising team to construct proposal budgets, among other responsibilities. You’ll also play a central role in audits, maintain compliance with GDPR, and manage insurance policies. If you have strong budgeting, expense management, and forecasting skills, along with a knack for vendor management and operational efficiency, we want to hear from you!
