Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is currently seeking Financial Analysts (Associate and/or Experienced) to join their organization in Huntsville, Alabama.Be a part of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Finance team supporting critical National Defense programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a someone who is looking to gain diverse and valuable finance experience.Position Responsibilities:• Lead development, integration, and analysis of resource baselines and Estimates at Completion (EACs) for various contracts/Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)/Control Account Managers (CAMs)• Develops performance reports. Integrates variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to senior management• Makes recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience• Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, in some cases leverages earned value management practices, and supports variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends• Supports development of business cases using appropriate indices• Supports process improvement initiatives, communicates the need for change to stakeholders and acts as a finance representative for cross-functional engagementsThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is requiredBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field• 1+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)• 1+ years of experience developing and managing budget baselines and Estimates at Completion (EAC)• Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets• Experience presenting and communicating data in Senior Leadership briefingsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience• Ability to work onsite 100% of the time• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)• Highly motivated self-starter with a creative mind, and high attention to detail• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skillsTypical Education/Experience:Associate (Level 2)Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).Experienced (Level 3)Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
