Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

Our client is looking for a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in the state of Wisconsin.  Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting.


They will be responsible for overall facility management, profitability, operations, and direction in all aspects. Accountable for, but not limited to, census development, management of accounts receivable and collections, maximization of Net Operating Income, resident/patient care, state and federal survey compliance, positive employee relations, a positive return on investment.   Follows all facility policies and procedures. Completes rounds of entire facility premises at least daily to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the facility’s budget, including cost control, financial reporting, and overseeing billing and reimbursement procedures.  Ensure gross margin and profit margins are being maintained per direction of CEO.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, including staffing, budgeting, and facility maintenance, to ensure smooth and effective operations.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing the healthcare industry, including nursing home and long-term care guidelines.
  • Staff Leadership: Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, dietary, and administrative staff. Promote a culture of continuous learning, teamwork, and high-quality care.
  • Resident Care: Ensure that residents receive compassionate, individualized care in accordance with their care plans, and that any concerns or grievances are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of resident care and safety.
  • Staff Development: Conduct regular, timely performance reviews of executive leadership team, update leadership team roles/responsibilities on a quarterly basis, holding team accountable to achieve key expectations, provide ongoing training opportunities, and create career development plans for staff members.
  • Family and Community Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with residents’ families, the local community, and external healthcare providers.
