You constantly seek useful information that can shape our products for the good of the user; and build strong, productive relationships while guiding your teams and stakeholders to produce tremendous value for our customers. In the face of complexity, you lean in with initiative, demonstrating leadership and influence to align teams and deliver results that matter.

In this role, you will:

Product Vision, Roadmap, & Strategy (40%)

  • Align product strategy with program goals, while deeply understanding customer needs and validating solutions through data and feedback
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and act on opportunities that reduce operational complexity and risk
  • Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the market including the competitive landscape, emerging trends, customer needs and market requirements
  • Review market data and user feedback consistently to shape the product roadmap and improve user experience
  • Lead new product and feature development by developing compelling business cases and rationale for new product investments
  • Ensure customer and business requirements are understood and incorporated into design of new features
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new product offerings into the market
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to develop a go-to-market strategy and launch plan

Deliver Roadmap Priorities (30%)

  • Understand and deliver the highest priority features on the digital testing product roadmap that are aligned to the product vision and organizational priorities
  • Proactively define and communicate Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the product that drive action focused on outcomes (vs. outputs)
  • Understand, prioritize, and manage the flow of initiatives and features and participate in planning activities
  • Collaborate with product owners to define release plans and gain a shared understanding of priorities and backlog items within development teams
  • Provide feedback to product owners during demonstrations of product designs, completed work and testing

Collaboration & Stakeholder Relationships (30%)

  • Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to develop and update high-quality training resources, support documentation, manuals, marketing content, and responses to state RFPs for new product features
  • Communicate timely product updates to internal and external stakeholders, including district and state partners
  • Represent College Board’s digital testing platform as a subject matter expert in state and district customer meetings
  • Work cross-functionally to identify and implement enhancements to product implementation processes, program policies, and operational support models
