Job Overview:

CompassCare is seeking a dynamic, self-driven, and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team. In this role you will focus on identifying new referral sources and channels, establishing partnerships with healthcare providers, and building relationships with qualified referral sources. This position requires in-person and virtual meetings, presentations, attending networking events, and other outreach activities aimed at driving revenue growth through direct referrals.

 

Working Environment:  

Travels throughout CompassCare territories including New York City, Westchester County, Lower Fairfield County, CT, with some time spent at CompassCare home office in Stamford, CT. 

 

Business Development Strategy and Responsibilities:  

  • Identify, pursue, and prioritize partnership opportunities and new relationships with a diverse range of qualified referral sources. 
  • Build, maintain and nurture professional relationships with new and existing referral sources to grow into partnerships and to position CompassCare as the leading concierge homecare company.  
  • Develop and execute networking strategy to increase awareness, drive growth, and achieve revenue targets.  
  • Provide weekly performance reports, including progress on referral source development and revenue goals. 
  • Implement marketing campaigns that enhance CompassCare awareness and consistently grow the business. 
  • Event coordination, including in-person networking events and webinars. 
  • Create marketing material, and other various related duties as assigned. 
  • Identify networking opportunities and attend key homecare and industry related events in New York City, Westchester County, and Lower Fairfield County.

Qualifications


Qualifications:  

  • Proven experience in business development and sales, preferably within the healthcare or homecare industry. 3+ years' experience required.  
  • Education - College degree in Sales and Marketing or Health Care preferred. 
  • CRM- Proficiency in CRM software to track leads, referrals, and other relevant activities. 
  • Organization – Highly organized and disciplined. 
  • Strong Communicator - Excellent communication, strong public speaking and presentation capabilities, and networking skills, with positive, professional image. Builds relationships with ease.  
  • Independent and collaborative – Self-motivated. Takes initiative and also works well with a team. 
  • Goal Oriented and Driven – Thrives on setting and achieving goals. 
  • Time Management - Ability to manage time effectively.
