CBCC Global Research is looking for a Business Development Executive to join the team! 


The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project execution. This position requires a proactive approach to sales and relationship-building, a strong understanding of the clinical research field, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Potential Clients: Research and identify new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. Use market knowledge to target potential clients and expand the company’s reach.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current leads, ensuring continuous engagement, deepening client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including project managers, clinical research staff, and marketing, to ensure smooth client onboarding and successful project delivery. Foster cross-functional collaboration to meet client needs.
  • Present Services to Clients: Develop and deliver compelling presentations to clients, demonstrating the organization’s capabilities, expertise in clinical research, and how the company can meet their needs.
  • Represent the Organization at Events: Act as the face of the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities (including dinner events). Build brand awareness and foster relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on business development activities, client engagement, and revenue forecasts. Track progress toward business goals and provide insights on strategies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate and Refine Strategies: Analyze the effectiveness of current business development strategies. Make recommendations for adjustments and improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research processes and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in presenting to clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze business data, identify trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to industry events, conferences, and client meetings as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in clinical research organizations (CROs) or with pharmaceutical/biotech clients.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software.
  • Experience with contract negotiations and client proposals.
