Company Description

Contitech Industries is part to Continental AG. Headquartered in Hannover, Germany, the division contributes to Euro 6B+ to Continentals Euro 40B+ turnover.

The Digital and Data services team of Contitech caters to all the Business Units in Contitech and responsible for envisioning software products using web, mobile, IoT, AI , Embedded Systems, Data Science and engineering etc and plan the roadmap

Job Description

We are looking for Junior Software Engineer who is primarily involved in ensuring the smooth operation of software and systems. Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues are essential for this position. You'll have the chance to work closely with a wide range of technology experts at our innovation hub. Do you want to be a part of this exciting journey and make a difference?

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide basic technical support, including troubleshooting and detailed ticket documentation.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks and documenting procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of new features in collaboration with senior developers.
  • Assisting with the build and deployment of new software updates.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to professional development, seeking out learning opportunities in emerging technologies and IT operations best practices.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience in NodeJS and angular or any other front-end technologies.
  • Experience in working with AWS cloud platform is a plus.
  • Experience with Microservices is a valuable addition to your skillset.
  • Knowledge in PHP, .Net, C#, SQL Server, RESTful API and MVC architecture is a plus.
  • Understanding in using various relevant tools for Unit Testing, CI/CD, Code quality etc.
  • Understanding or willingness to learn mobile development technology (flutter)
  • Familiarity of BMC tool

Experience

  • Around 1 to 3 years of experience overall

Education

  • BE in engineering with focus on computer science / software engineering.
  • MCA with professional experience.
  • Other relevant education streams with strong tech experiences can be considered.

  • Understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
  • Proficient understanding of ITIL processes, operations, and support procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
  • Great team player and ability to work in a highly international team.
  • Willingness to learn new things.
  • Experience working in tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Jenkins etc.
