About the Role

As a Sales Manager, you will recruit, coach, and lead a team of Business Development Representatives who generate net new pipeline through a combination of self-sourced outbound prospecting and qualifying warm inbound leads. This is a senior-level role where you will be responsible for developing your team's skills, optimizing sales processes, and executing strategies that deliver measurable results and contribute to the organization's overall growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and actively coach a team of Sales and Business Development Representatives to consistently achieve sales targets.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training to improve individual sales, product knowledge, and industry expertise of team members.

  • Create and continuously refine an outbound prospecting strategy to convert prospects into new customers.

  • Provide clear and regular reporting on individual and team performance, preparing accurate forecasts and performance reports.

  • Identify performance gaps and promptly develop strategies to address and correct them.

  • Design and implement motivational incentives to encourage high performance and overall job satisfaction in your team.

  • Maintain accountability within your team, providing consistent feedback and clearly defined performance metrics.

  • Collaborate regularly with Marketing to align sales efforts on meaningful initiatives.

  • Proactively make suggestions to improve overall sales processes, efficiency, and productivity within your team.

  • Own and manage our CRM (Hubspot), ensuring data integrity, process adherence, and preventing anything from slipping through the cracks, with regular auditing to maintain accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B, SaaS or Enterprise sales, including a minimum of 2 years leading and managing sales teams.

  • Demonstrated success acquiring new business and exceeding sales quotas.

  • Proven experience in effectively coaching and mentoring Business Development Representatives on both technical and value-driven sales approaches.

  • Exceptional ability to understand complex customer business problems, build effective solutions and strategies, and communicate value persuasively.

  • Ability to exercise strong judgment, adaptability, and creativity in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentation abilities and the capability to mentor team members effectively.

  • Experience with CRM systems, Hubspot preferred.
