CTI is seeking a motivated and well-organised Project Officer to support the planning, implementation and follow-up of CTI’s activities, including country engagement, capacity-building events, and communications. This is an entry to mid-level professional role ideal for someone with a background in human rights, international relations, law, or political science, who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and diplomatic environment.
The Project Officer will work closely with team members to help ensure the smooth running of CTI’s projects and activities.

CTI is on the lookout for a passionate and organized Project Officer to jump in and assist with the planning, implementation, and follow-up of our important activities. If you have a background in human rights, international relations, law, or political science, and thrive in a fast-paced, diplomatic environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! As a Project Officer at CTI, you'll be instrumental in supporting country engagement, capacity-building events, and communications efforts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve preparing for workshops, briefings, and study visits, while also conducting valuable research around legal and policy matters relevant to UNCAT ratification and implementation. Plus, you'll be drafting materials such as background notes and reports, helping to enhance CTI’s outreach to States and partners. Don’t worry if you think you’re new to this; with 2-4 years of experience, you’ll collaborate closely with team members to ensure everything runs smoothly. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities in English are essential for this role. As you coordinate logistics, manage budgets, and document everything, you will be part of a close-knit team making a real difference.
