We are looking for a talented Analyst who will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of inventory management principles, and the ability to translate data into insights.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Monitor inventory levels, analyzing historical data and current trends to forecast future demand accurately.
Collaborate with procurement and planning team to ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials and supplies to meet inventory requirements. Work closely with logistics team to optimize transportation and warehousing processes, ensuring efficient handling and storage of inventory.
Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
Create and maintain inventory control reports and systems and procedures to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, prevent stockouts, and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand product demand patterns and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
1+ year experience as an Analyst, preferably with expertise in the D365 ERP system and Power BI
Knowledge of inventory control principles, forecasting techniques, and supply chain management concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
