By building the operating system for every dental office in America, Dandy is empowering dentists with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practice, their people, and their patients.About the RoleDandy is seeking an experienced Director of Commercial Sales to lead our SMB sales organization. SMB is the center of gravity of the sales organization at Dandy and we need a leader of leaders to build on the early success and accelerate the team’s growth. In this role you will manage a team of 5 managers and 30+ reps in NYC and Salt Lake City who sell Dandy’s offerings into dental practices across the United States. You will play a critical role in shaping our go-to-market strategy through a deep understanding of Dandy customers and sales funnel data. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-growth environment and is passionate about building and leading high-performance teams. This role is inherently cross-functional in nature and the ideal candidate will be a master at aligning internally to execute important initiatives tied to the company’s most important OKRs.Please Note: This is a hybrid role; our Director, Commercial Sales must be onsite in either our NYC office or Lehi, UT office at least 2 days per week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays).What You'll Do• Lead a team of sales managers across the US.• Drive an operationally rigorous, high velocity sales organization through an extreme focus on data to drive decision making.• Consistently beat sales targets by building a consistent sales motion with a culture of high performance.• Partner tightly with the Marketing and XDR organizations to build the pipeline required to hit sales targets.• Be directly involved with the mentoring and development of the team. This includes but is not limited to:• Lead weekly team meetings to outline objectives and guidance on ongoing/upcoming initiatives.• Conduct weekly pipeline reviews and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvement.• Be the voice of SMB Sales at Dandy, fully and autonomously owning outcomes and opinions on what we need to be doing better and what we need to be successful.• Prepare accurate sales forecasts as well as manage SFDC data to ensure up to date information.• Manage escalations and participate directly in all aspects of the sales cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.What We're Looking For:• 8+ years of quota carrying experience• 4+ years management experience• Proven record of success in a high velocity/high volume sales environment• Experience managing managers (2nd line leadership)• Understanding of the complete sales cycle (from prospect to close)• Excellent verbal and written communications• Proven track record of hiring and training individual contributors• Player coach mentality• Comfort with ambiguity and change• Satellite office experienceYou’ll Really Stand Out if:• Comfortable in a fast growing and changing startup environment• You’ve sold to SMB customers particularly in an industry transitioning from analog to digital• Excellent time management and organizational skills• Strong knowledge of SFDC and other relevant tech stackJ-440For full time positions, we offer a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits including healthcare, dental, parental planning, mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.Dandy is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
