Job Summary
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Warehouse Engineer to join our Data Warehouse team. In this role, you will help the Data Warehouse fulfill its mandate to empower the company to make better data-driven decisions. You will report to the Data Warehouse Team Lead and collaborate with key stakeholders across the company to ingest, anonymize, organize and document data across the company.

  • This is an exciting opportunity to build a new data warehouse while developing your skills in a supportive and innovative team.


Responsibilities
  • Design and Build a Scalable Data Warehouse: Design and implement data ingest systems that keep up with business needs and growth of data sources. Your team is expected to develop and meet SLAs for the onboarding of new data.

  • Design and Build Shared Data Models: Work with stakeholders in our BI team, Product, and Engineering to build data models that can be shared by multiple groups within the company.

  • Advocating Data Literacy and Governance: Your team is the first point of contact for raw data, so maintaining documentation on what’s available and how to access it in a compliant way is essential to building a healthy data culture at DeleteMe.

  • Ensuring Audit-ability and Compliance: Develop and maintain a data warehouse that meets security audit and SOC 2 compliance requirements from Day 1.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the BI Team, Product, Engineering and other stakeholders to gather requirements and align initiatives to company strategy.

  • Contribute to Team Goals: Participate in planning sessions and team initiatives, aligning with the Data Warehouse Team Lead’s vision and organizational objectives.


The Team
  • This is a new team that you get to help define. Our initial vision includes making raw data widely available, onboarding new data quickly from owners across the company, broadening access by aggregating/anonymizing PII, maintaining low-level self-serve tooling and documentation, and introducing trusted models shared across multiple stakeholders.


Job Requirements
  • Minimum of four years of experience in data/analytics engineering with a track record of designing and implementing effective systems.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of compliance frameworks like SOC 2 and best practices for infrastructure auditability.
  • Passion for contributing to a collaborative culture that values innovation, continuous improvement, and personal accountability.
Proven hands-on experience with:
  • Analytic SQL (we use Snowflake currently)
  • Setting up data ingest pipelines at scale
  • Managing toolchains in the data/analytics engineering ecosystem tools including Snowflake and DBT
  • Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Managing data governance and compliance in a data warehouse
This role may require occasional domestic and international travel. All standard travel expenses will be covered in accordance with the company's travel reimbursement policy.
