Job Summary: As a Route Assistant at Dempsey, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Route Service Representatives (RSRs) in delivering exceptional service to our customers. You will assist with various tasks related to route operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our products and services.

We offer full-time opportunities working 4 day work weeks (6:00am to 4:30pm) with weekends and holidays off.

• Collaborate with RSRs to load and unload laundry and uniform items onto delivery vehicles, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery to customers.
• Assist in stocking and organizing merchandise at customer locations, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the delivery process.
• Learn and familiarize yourself with route schedules, customer locations, and specific delivery requirements to optimize route efficiency.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service, building positive relationships with customers and addressing any inquiries or concerns effectively.
• Assist RSRs in identifying opportunities for upselling additional products or services to customers, contributing to revenue growth and business expansion.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support RSRs in resolving any delivery-related issues or challenges, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required, depending on the position.
• Physical ability to lift 75lbs.
