What’s the opportunity?


We are at a strategic growth stage and seeking a Bank Reserve Pilot - PIX to lead the onboarding process for the Reserves Transfer System (STR), as well as the integration with the Card Settlement System (SLC) and boletos via Nuclea. This professional will play a critical role in structuring our financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing liquidity management, and integrating with the Central Bank’s systems.

Additionally, there is a strong expectation of transitioning to Pix as a direct participant, which requires in-depth knowledge of its operation and Bacen (Central Bank of Brazil) regulations.


What will I be doing?
  • Oversee compliance with Central Bank regulations in the Reserves Transfer System (STR).
  • Coordinate certification, testing, and approvals for Brazilian Payment System (SPB) operations.
  • Implement processes for managing reserve accounts and interbank payments.
  • Ensure efficient adoption of the Card Settlement System (SLC) and boleto issuance through Nuclea, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Lead the transition to direct Pix participation, eliminating intermediaries.
  • Oversee homologation, PI to PD account configuration, and liquidity strategies for secure Pix transactions.
  • Manage reserve account balances and optimize liquidity.
  • Develop automated financial reconciliation and risk mitigation processes.
  • Relationships with Central Bank and Financial Institutions
  • Liaise with the Central Bank, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with partner banks and financial service providers.
  • Enhance financial automation and efficiency with IT, Compliance, and Treasury teams.


What skills do I need?
  • Experience in Reserve Banking & Treasury Operations
  • Proven track record in reserve banking, treasury, or similar roles in banks, fintechs, or payment institutions. Strong knowledge of interbank liquidity and SPB operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Bacen regulations (STR, SLC, Pix, boletos via Nuclea). Understanding of direct Pix rules, settlement processes, and security requirements. Familiarity with SPB, RSFN, Proban, and financial messaging systems.
  • Experience in liquidity modeling, reserve banking structure management, and cost-reduction strategies.
  • Familiarity with banking reconciliation systems, interbank settlement, and financial transaction automation. Preferred: Knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar tools for data analysis and automation.
  • Strong negotiation skills with regulators, partner banks, and fintechs. Excellent communication and collaboration with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams. Proactive in improving financial operations.

  • Hands-on experience with STR and Bacen’s regulatory onboarding processes.
  • Experience transitioning to direct Pix participation.
  • Knowledge of financial innovations, Open Banking, and emerging payment trends.
