We are hiring for an Associate Director, Partner Operations to join our Partner Operations Team.

This role is unique as this individual will be working directly with Evolent’s largest client and leading a group of individuals who oversee various aspects of the plan. The Associate Director will have a unique insight to the various idiosyncrasies to the individual markets and be directly and indirectly responsible for their outputs. The Partner Operations team is also going through many exciting changes and this individual will have a direct input to the service model and structure for Evolent.

Collaboration Opportunities:

Serving as a consultative partner, helping to identify opportunities for growth within health plan specialty management and Evolent. Partner with Evolent central Strategic Account resources to implement relationship best practices and drive value communication and satisfaction at all levels of the partner organization.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with a team of account executives and managers providing ongoing feedback and support
  • Supporting an assigned book of business strategically to achieve objectives, including relationship, growth, retention, and customer goals. Including Manage risks and developing opportunities associated with current clients
  • Cultivate productive, trusted relationships with key executives – including C-level and both internal and external stakeholders of relationships
  • Utilize data-driven resources to run efficient/effective meetings and work sessions with the client and all relevant Subject Matter Expert (SME)s
  • Possess working knowledge of Evolent products and services and can articulate value proposition for all at a high level
  • Develop best-in-class presentation strategies, narratives, and content to support external meetings with senior stakeholders
  • Lead regular Partnership review meetings for each client, including relationship mapping, issue identification, and action planning, in lead up to scheduled Client Value Meetings
  • Advocate for partner culture, serve as an ambassador within Evolent and the go-to expert on client priorities and how to get things done within the health plan organization
  • Aggressively manage all aspects of the contracts with assigned clients as well as ensure ongoing contract performance through risk management activities including assurance of Service Level Agreement performance, rate/savings maximization through ongoing benefit analysis and adherence to requirements of the client’s legal and regulatory environment

Qualifications – Required and Preferred:

  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent work experience (Required)
  • 4+ or more years in client or account management leadership roles (Required)
  • 6+ years broad-based Health Plan experience (Required)
  • Ability to find creative solutions in an ever changing and growing environment (Required)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including at the C-level (Required)
  • Exceptionally high “Emotional Intelligence” and ability to connect with diverse constituents, actively listen, and identify key areas of sensitivity (Preferred)

Technical Requirements:

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $120,000-125,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
