From creative direction to production, our goal is to deliver a fun experience that our shoppers (and partners) love and can’t live without.Fetch is looking for an experienced Animator to join our team. You will be working closely with the Studio team to drive all animated content in video, in-app character celebrations and micro animations, social media and marketing communications in the Fetch Brand style. We work in a startup atmosphere where individuals take ownership and have significant impact on the final product.This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.Role Responsibilities:• Risk-takers. Our secret sauce is our team dynamic; we don’t have time for egos.By month 3 you will be…• Intimately familiar with the Fetch app; using it in your daily life.• Integrated within your team• Understanding Studio creative goals, guidelines and best practices• Developing strong working relationships with your Motion Director, Lead Illustrator, Creative Director and other creatives within your team• Leading projects of your work with cross-functional stakeholders and peersBy month 6 you will be…• Influencing & making decisions within your team• Developing strong working relationships outside of your team with key stakeholders and other cross-functional teams• Exploring the unknowns—what opportunities are untouched?By year 1 you will be…• Influencing decisions outside of your team for the larger organization• Thriving in ambiguity within your team and the larger organizationMinimum Requirements:• 3+ years of relevant experience• Intermediate/Advanced skill level in Adobe programs, particularly AfterEffects and Premiere Pro. Rive experience a plus.• Experience executing frame-by-frame character animation• Experience with vector animation formats (Lottie, Rive, AVD)• Illustration chops as it relates to animation• Storyboarding experience a plus• Demonstrated history and examples of in-market deliverables• Values and responds well to feedback• Willingness to ask questions and seek suggestions• Commitment to high quality work and attention to detail• Independent worker, but able to meet check-in and deliverable timelines and check-ins• Good communication skills• Motivated, curious and creative• Self-starter, resourceful and persistent in execution• A tendency to self-direct and lean on their own prioritization methods to get their work done in a fast-paced startup environment• Previous mobile experience nice to have• Blender experience a plusCompensation:At Fetch, we offer competitive compensation packages including base, equity, and benefits to the exceptional folks we hire. The base salary range for this position is 77,000-85,000.
