As a Financial Analyst II - General Accounting at First Quality, you'll dive into the fascinating world of financial reporting and general accounting. Based in McElhattan, Pennsylvania, this role is pivotal for supporting our monthly close activities, where you’ll get to create and enter general ledger journal entries, and draft financial statements with ease. You’ll be the go-to person for balance sheet reconciliations while preparing, coordinating, and documenting financial analysis projects that explore everything from rate of return to working capital. What makes this position truly exciting is your involvement in intercompany initiatives designed to improve financial reporting and enhance our internal controls. You’ll also have the opportunity to prepare budgets and forecasts as well as analyze trends impacting various aspects of our business, from manufacturing to finance. Collaborating with different departments will be a key part of your role, and you’ll contribute to both moderately complex projects and potentially lead initiatives independently. To excel in this position, you’ll need at least a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with an MBA, CPA, or CMA being a nice bonus!
