UX / UI Designer

As a UX/UI Designer at FleetPulse, your primary responsibilities will include leading UX/UI improvements across our platform, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams, and advocating for a user-centered design approach. You will also be instrumental in creating intuitive interfaces and transforming user feedback into actionable design iterations.

When prioritizing user experience, I start by understanding user personas and pain points. Conducting user research and testing allows me to gather insights directly from potential users, which informs my design decisions to ensure they are intuitive and user-friendly.

My design process typically begins with research and user interviews, followed by sketching initial ideas. Next, I create wireframes and prototypes using tools like Figma, and present them to stakeholders for feedback. I then iterate based on that feedback before working closely with developers for implementation.

I view feedback as an essential part of the design process. I appreciate constructive criticism and actively seek it at various stages. I approach it with an open mind, recognizing that collaboration often leads to better outcomes.

In a previous project, I noticed users struggled with a feature due to its complexity. I gathered user feedback and presented data-driven insights to stakeholders, illustrating the need for a more user-friendly design approach. This advocacy led to a redesign that significantly improved engagement.

I prefer using Figma for its collaborative features and ease of use. It allows for real-time collaboration with team members and feedback integration, which streamlines the design process and enhances communication with stakeholders.

I keep up with UX/UI design trends by following influential designers on social media, subscribing to industry blogs, and attending workshops and webinars. Continuous learning is crucial for staying current and applying new ideas to my designs.
