With Freemodel, homeowners don’t pay until the home sells, and the work we do will give them the best chance to maximize their profit with quality improvements completed by project management professionals with remodeling expertise and local market knowledge. 

Our team of renovation professionals who chose to partner with us come from a variety of backgrounds, but what they all have in common is their ability to deliver quality completed renovation projects on time and on budget. We like to refer to the folks in this role as Project Directors, because you’re the director of the project!

We provide Project Directors with the opportunity to cultivate business connections with real estate agents, oversee a portfolio of approved subcontractors and vendors, and execute their projects with the support of Freemodel's back office team.

Freemodel operates as a licensed and insured General Contractor in all the states where we conduct business. Subcontractors are thoroughly vetted and compensated by Freemodel, while you will oversee their management. If you already have a team, that's fantastic! As long as they successfully clear our vetting process, you are welcome to collaborate with them!

Here’s what we are looking for: 

  • Onsite experience in construction, specifically residential renovations, and contractor and vendor management.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with Freemodel staff, real estate agents, homeowners, and subcontractors at every stage of the project. 
  • Onsite project management experience with the ability to execute projects from initial planning, scope of work, architecture and design, permitting, labor, materials procurement, and punch list, to the final walk through.
  • Proficiency in project management/productivity software, preferably including Google Workspace and Apple products.

Compensation Details: This role is a contract position without benefits. Compensation will depend on the number and scope of contracted projects. Project Directors who receive support from Freemodel will be paid 50% of the profit from each renovation project they successfully complete.
