Junior Project Manager

About the role: 

This is a hybrid role, 2 days per week in our Glasgow and the other days can be remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Functional/Professional
  • Experience in a project role in a customer facing environment or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a structured, quality environment
  • Previous exposure to delivering IT projects
  • Ability to identify and effectively assist in the management of risks and issues
  • Commercial awareness
  • Domain experience in the energy sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Technical Skills:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of project teams
  • Ensure project teams stay on task and on schedule
  • Act as the primary point of contact between project teams and clients
  • Monitor project progress and report on project status to upper management
  • Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards
