Here’s the opportunity: Bilingual Business Development Coordinator

The bilingual Business Development Coordinator will support business development teams in promoting Futurpreneur financing and mentoring programs for young entrepreneurs and community partners. We are seeking a motivated business development coordinator to assist our business development managers in driving lead generation and expanding the business. You will conduct market analysis, initiate contact with prospects, generate leads and propose sales strategies, facilitate info sessions, maintain relationships with existing clients and address their needs, and complete a range of administrative duties. At Futurpreneur, our client base is broad. We work with three different clientele, entrepreneurs aged 18-39, mentors and local and national entrepreneurship ecosystem partners.

This is a full-time, 12-month contract position located in Montreal, QC or at one of our satellite offices in Halifax, NS, or Charlottetown, PEI. The incumbent will work under our hybrid work model (minimum 2 days in the office). 

What you will do:

Lead Generation and team support

  • Serve as first point of contact for Entrepreneurs looking for support in starting or buying a business
  • Utilize various tools and strategies to generate leads and establish initial contact base on different regional volumes and national programs offer to our diverse potential entrepreneurs
  • Ensure rigorous follow-ups on specific leads segments as identified by our team and where appropriate, send to a BDM, or an ecosystem partner
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Business Development team by conducting research, preparing presentations and materials, and assisting with marketing initiatives as needed
  • Assist in tracking leads, opportunities, and pipeline activities to maintain CRM database
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, programs and partnerships to align business development efforts with overall company objectives
  • Support BD teams in mentor research to identify leads
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • As needed, act as a point of contact for entrepreneurs, mentors, partners inquiries, requests, and feedback

Event coordination (virtual, in-person, hybrid)

  • Assist in researching, potential event and presentation opportunities
  • Support and coordinate events, conferences, and trade shows to promote Futurpreneur’s offerings
  • Manage pre-event promotions, logistics (customer segments in CRM system), invitations, and follow-up activities for event attendees
  • Support BDM and Programs teams with RMBP series, as needed
  • At times, be in-person to assist at events, as needed by business development teams

Administration and customer service

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Business Development team, including researching opportunities, preparing presentations and materials
  • Support Business development teams in tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities, such as lead conversion and pipeline follow-ups
  • Prepare reports and presentations to update the business development team on progress and outcomes
  • Assist in monitoring project timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure planning project is on track
  • Collaborate with business development leadership team to evaluate and prioritize business development initiatives based on strategic objectives and market dynamic
  • Support BD office coordinators while on vacations, as needed

What you will have:  

  • Relevant experience may include education with a focus on Business, Marketing, Economic development, entrepreneurship or equivalent hands-on career experience
  • Strong research abilities and computer literacy abilities with systems and programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint ,CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics), Canva and Eventbrite)
  • Bilingualism in French & English (spoken & written) as you will be required to work on a daily basis with non-bilingual team members and/or clients across Canada and at Head office in Toronto
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team
  • General administration experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently to various audiences.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to drive informed business decisions

En quoi consiste cette offre d’emploi : Coordonnateur.trice bilingue des communautés entrepreneuriales

Le/La coordinateur.trice bilingue des communautés entrepreneuriales aidera les équipes des communautés entrepreneuriales à promouvoir les programmes de financement et de mentorat de Futurpreneur pour les jeunes entrepreneur.e.s, les mentor.e.s et les partenaires communautaires. Nous recherchons un.e coordinateur.trice motivé.e pour aider nos équipes des communautés entrepreneuriales à générer des prospects et à développer l'entreprise. Vous effectuerez des analyses de marché, entrerez en contact avec des prospects, générerez des pistes et proposerez des stratégies de vente, faciliterez des sessions d’information, entretiendrez des relations avec les client.e.s existants et répondrez à leurs besoins, et accomplirez une série de tâches administratives. Chez Futurpreneur, notre base de client.e.s est large. Nous travaillons avec trois clientèles différentes : des entrepreneur.e.s âgés de 18 à 39 ans, des mentor.e.s et des partenaires locaux et nationaux de l'écosystème de l'entrepreneuriat. 

Il s'agit d'un contrat de 12 mois à temps plein et permanent situé à Montréal, QC ou dans l'un de nos bureaux satellites à Halifax, N.-É ou à Charlottetown, Î.-P.-É. Le titulaire du poste travaillera selon notre modèle de travail hybride (au moins deux jours au bureau).  

Ce que vous ferez 

Génération de leads et soutien à l'équipe : 

  • Servir de premier point de contact pour les entrepreneur.e.s potentiels à la recherche de soutien pour démarrer ou acheter une entreprise
  • Utiliser divers outils et stratégies pour générer des leads et établir une base de contact initiale basés sur les différents volumes et les différents programmes nationaux attitrés aux diverses communautés
  • Assurer un suivi rigoureux des segments de prospects spécifiques identifiés par notre équipe et, le cas échéant, les envoyer vers un.e gestionnaire des communautés entrepreneuriales ou à un.e partenaire de l'écosystème
  • Offrir un soutien administratif et logistique à l’équipe des communautés entrepreneuriales en effectuant des recherches, en préparant des présentations et du matériel, et en appuyant les initiatives marketing au besoin
  • Participer au suivi des pistes, des opportunités et des activités en cours pour tenir à jour la base de données CRM
  • Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles telles que le marketing, les programmes et les partenariats afin d'aligner les efforts de développement des affaires sur les objectifs généraux de l'entreprise
  • Soutenir les équipes des communautés entrepreneuriales dans les recherches de mentor.e.s afin d'identifier les leads

  • Soutenir les coordinateurs.trices du bureau des communautés entrepreneuriales pendant les vacances, selon les besoins
