About the positionGalvanick protects the industrial world against cyber attacks. Our first-of-its-kind threat detection platform for factories and critical infrastructure defends the modern world against criminals and nation-states that target SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), ICS (Industrial Control Systems), and Operational Technology (OT) systems. This is a chance to work in a fast moving startup environment with driven individuals committed to solving cybersecurity's big problems. The team comes from Amazon, Apple, Google, McKinsey, the White House, the US Navy, and Wall Street. We are backed by Founders Fund, Village Global, MaC Venture Capital, and others. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as Head of Government Affairs. You will manage all government-related endeavors for Galvanick, including direct sales to the United States Government (e.g., US Department of Defense, US Department of Energy), policy engagement at Executive Departments and Agencies, and engagement with Congressional authorizers and appropriators. You will also architect our engagement with foreign governments, particularly Australia, Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.Responsibilities• Manage and direct all government-related activities for Galvanick.,• Oversee direct sales to the United States Government and various foreign governments.,• Engage in policy dialogues at Executive Departments and Agencies navigating complex procurement processes.,• Develop and maintain relationships with Congressional authorizers and appropriators to advocate for Galvanick's interests.,• Establish and maintain relationships with foreign governments, understanding their unique needs and maintaining strong, strategic relationships.Requirements• A proven track record in government sales and engagement.,• Experience leading new products, services, or technologies from zero to SBIR Phase III or a Program of Record (POR).,• Strong understanding of how to navigate and shape the policy landscape.,• Demonstrated success driving the full life cycle of a US Government sales process.,• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.,• Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.,• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with government entities.,• Willingness to travel internationally as required.Nice-to-haves• Startup experience and an understanding of zero to one ideas.,• Enjoy solving problems and are naturally curious about the technologies you use.,• Comfortable taking risks and owning the accountability for managing them.Benefits• Top-of-the-line medical/dental/vision for employees and dependents.,• Additional benefits designed to optimize every team member's vitality, health, and wellness.,• Base pay ranges from $100,000/year to $180,000/year depending on geographic market and experience.,• Equity may be provided as part of the compensation package.
