To promote the mission and values of the Greene County Public Library. To carry out objectives and goals of the strategic plan to better serve the community. To provide information services to adult and children using print and electronic sources.

As an Adult Services Librarian, you'll engage with the community by answering reference and reader's advisory questions, helping patrons navigate both printed and electronic resources. You won't just be providing information; you'll be planning and promoting programs that enrich lives—think book clubs, educational seminars, and family-oriented events. We're looking for someone with a Master's degree in Library Science for our Adult Services Librarian II role, or a Bachelor's degree for the I position, along with a background in customer service or library experience. Your analytical skills will come into play as you help develop our collection by assessing community needs and finding relevant materials.
