Summary

Ideas United is a creative studio that brings storytelling to life through campaigns, content, and experiential events. Founded on the belief that everyone has a story to tell, we’ve grown from a fledgling band of creators and innovators to partnering with some of the most influential brands, sports, nonprofits, and universities in the world. We’re looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our creative team and help concept and deliver design that creates real impact.

This isn’t a production-only role—we’re looking for someone who thinks deeply about why we design, not just what we design. The ideal candidate has experience creating event and campaign branding, designing across digital and print, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex creative challenges. You’ll help shape visual identities and narratives that resonate with audiences, reflect partner values, and inspire action.

What you’ll do:
  • Concept and design creative assets for branding, campaigns, live events, fundraising activations, digital media, and presentations
  • Collaborate with Creative Directors, Writers, Editors, Project Managers, and fellow Designers to build storytelling-driven visual solutions
  • Participate in the strategic process—understanding client goals, researching audience needs, and bringing ideas to life through thoughtful design
  • Work within established brand guidelines while knowing when and how to push them creatively
  • Create moodboards, sketches, mockups, and presentation-ready design work that tells a cohesive story
  • Contribute to a healthy and curious creative culture by providing and receiving constructive feedback with project teams
  • Deliver work on time, even in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines. Flexibility is key!

What we’ll love about you:
  • 5+ years of graphic design experience in a creative agency, in-house team, or freelance capacity
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, event/campaign branding, and a range of digital and print work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
  • Working knowledge of Figma and Keynote is a plus, but not required
  • Experience designing for events  is preferred (identity systems, print signage, wayfinding, merch, digital screens) and campaigns (identity systems, social graphics, storytelling tools)
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and receiving feedback in a collaborative environment
  • A passion for human-centered design, and a curiosity for how storytelling can create positive change
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, UX, or a related field is preferred but not required

Why you’ll love us:
  • Competitive salary
  • Health, vision, dental insurance
  • Flexible time off and parental leave
  • Robust 401k with company-matching
  • Professional growth training + internal educational events
  • Hybrid work model
  • Dog friendly office
