In this role, the Data Analytics Project Manager will focus on ensuring contract requirements are met and involves managing relationships with healthcare partners, supervising study lifecycles, and coordinating efforts across multiple study phases.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with the Project Director to ensure all contract requirements are met and delivered to the highest standards.
  • Manage relationships with external partners as they relate to specific healthcare claims analytics and studies, serving as the primary customer-facing representative.
  • Act as the “face” of the analytics program to both the customer and external partners, with a strong focus on fostering collaboration and trust.
  • Provide support for study lifecycle partner engagement and committee meeting management.
  • Oversee and coordinate all phases of the study management lifecycle, including:
    • Study selection.
    • Study design and planning.
    • Study execution and analysis.
    • Study outcomes measurement.
  • Supervise a team of data scientists, ensuring effective workload management, technical guidance, and professional development.
  • Experience with predictive modeling, proactive analytics, and healthcare network analysis.
  • Generate study concepts and ideas, as well as manage prioritization.  Will also pesign and plan the lifecycle of the studies, ensuring they are valid and scientifically sound.
  • Provider analytic expertise and guidance to director reports, as well as customer and partners.
  • Develop and maintain reporting templates to demonstrate, visualize, and display the study findings.
  • Provide monthly and adhoc reports as directed.
  • Study execution and analyses.  Make sure they are completed and delivered.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Healthcare data experience (claims, payments, demographic, entity resolution, insurance fraud analytics, etc.).  Extensive background in claims analytics, including Professional, Institutional, and Pharmacy claims, across multiple payer types.
  •  Minimum of 5 years of experience in program integrity data analysis, with demonstrated knowledge of healthcare claims.
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and other government-sponsored or private/commercial plans.
  • At least two (2) years of management/supervisory experience managing staff such as data scientists, data analysts, or analytics teams.
  • Experience demonstrating an ability to engage with high-level stakeholders and represent program objectives effectively.
  • Expertise in data manipulation, analytics and data workflows using SQL, Python, or similar.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Research capabilities, coding expertise, statistical expertise, and clinical expertise preferred.
  • Experience with workload planning and tracking tools such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS SaaS/IaaS and their integration into analytics programs.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS systems, such as the Integrated Data Repository (IDR).
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to present to large audiences (both online and in-person) and develop engaging presentation materials.
  • Experience designing or directing AI/ML workflows to enhance analytics capabilities

This position reports directly to the VP of Program Integrity and Analytics.
