Web Technical Program Manager

Overview
On our gaming client's Web Team, experimentation is at the core of how they operate: from large-scale releases to UX optimizations, their goal is to achieve significant positive impact with maximum confidence. As their Web TPM, you will work with web content management systems and web application project delivery. This role will act as a TPM, managing web team project work for front-end experience delivery, platform-level enhancements, and compliance work associated with their gaming client's web properties.

Contract: W2 (no C2C, C2H or 1099)

Duration: now through June 30, 2025 with high chance to extend

Responsibilities

  • Work at various stages of development to ensure milestones are delivered on time and to the highest possible quality.
  • Create and maintain the project schedule; ensure teams are on track with their deliverables.
  • Communicate with engineers and business stakeholders on project requirements and deliverables
  • Keep the team aware of milestones deliverables and goals through all phases of development.
  • Identify risks in advance and drive the team towards successful resolution before the risks turn into fires.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Producer, or in a related role focused on web or online products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong program and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall, Scrum, or other Agile frameworks.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables across multiple disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the adoption of engineering best practices and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to establish and refine processes to improve efficiency while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment.
  • Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on collaboration and innovation.
  • Experience balancing project scope, budget, and resources while maintaining high production standards.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies (e.g., unit testing, functional automation, test-driven development, code coverage) is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, delivering solutions via web-based platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience with web-based experimentation or A/B testing on similar application platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience with data analytics platforms and data analysis.

Additional Information

  • The hiring manager is seeking candidates with hands-on experience in web-based experimentation and A/B testing.
  • Candidates with a background in enterprise-level web application delivery with a user-centered focus are highly preferred.

Compensation Range:

$63-$68/hr

** This pay range is Client-specific for the opening advertised. The identity of the Client will be disclosed if you are selected to move forward in the hiring process. **
