Responsibilities
As an Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Technician, you will be participating in a rewarding work environment in a Hospital Pharmacy setting. The role will be interacting with Pharmacists, Nurses, Physicians and Patients daily. You will have the opportunity to work alongside pharmacists in providing care to patients with a range of potential duties. You will be trained on sterile IV compounding, the use of automated dispensing systems (Omnicell), repackaging systems, IV compounding systems and inventory management processes. You will work with the EPIC health information system and Microsoft Suite resources as a part of an integrated health care organization that spans the region. You may even choose to grow into roles that will expose you to specialty areas of the organization as your long tenure with this amazing organization and culture continue.
