As a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Pricing, you will play a critical role in shaping and optimizing our pricing strategies to drive business growth and customer engagement. You will leverage data science, experimentation, and advanced analytics to design pricing models, measure price elasticity, and evaluate the impact of incentives and loyalty mechanisms. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams across Product, Finance, Engineering and Marketing, you will generate insights that inform strategic decisions, enhance customer retention, and maximize profitability. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, blending quantitative rigor with business intuition to drive measurable outcomes.
Develop and optimize pricing models to balance revenue growth, profitability, and customer retention.
Assess price elasticity, demand patterns, and competitive positioning to inform pricing strategies.
Analyze experimental and observational data using A/B tests and causal inference methods to measure the effectiveness of pricing changes, discounts, and incentives; communicate findings to stakeholders and facilitate data-driven launch decisions.
Leverage machine learning and statistical techniques to build predictive models for customer behavior, churn risk, and promotional impact.
Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations and build dashboards, reports, and self-serve analytics tools to empower teams with pricing and loyalty insights.
Stay ahead of industry trends and provide thought leadership on pricing strategies that align with company objectives.
MS or PhD in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
5+ years of industry experience as a Data Scientist, with a focus on pricing, loyalty, or revenue optimization.
Deep understanding of probability and statistics, including causal inference and experimental design.
Proficiency in SQL and Python, with end-to-end experience with data—including querying, data manipulation, aggregation, analysis, visualization , and model deployment.
Machine Learning & Modeling: Strong understanding of predictive modeling, price elasticity estimation, and customer segmentation techniques.
Business Acumen: Strong intuition for how pricing and loyalty strategies impact revenue, customer behavior, and long-term retention.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
