Our Area Manager role is a senior leadership and planning role, which in other companies may align with a Regional Manager title. 

Guiding OSHC Coordinators and Educators, you will ensure we uphold the highest standards of quality care while adhering to all regulatory requirements. You’ll have the opportunity to build and nurture a talented team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Description

What will you do

Lead and coach OSHC Coordinators and teams to achieve outstanding commercial, people, and quality outcomes, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.

  • Ensure development and performance monitoring across the portfolio, implementing improvement plans for underperforming services
  • Design innovative strategies to enhance the quality of care, drive enrolment, and retain talent while managing portfolio budgets and financial performance
  • Promote collaborative relationships within the portfolio and with support teams, focusing on safety and adherence to all regulatory requirements
  • Support OSHC Coordinators during critical incidents and identify future training needs, collaborating with L&D on development programs

Qualifications

Who are we looking for

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent) is essential; a Bachelor’s Degree is highly desirable
  • Proven Area Manager/ senior leadership experience in the School Aged Care sector, with demonstrated results in quality, financial, and people outcomes
  • Strong ability to develop high-level strategies for OSHC programs while maintaining effective stakeholder relationships across multiple sites
  • Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence, with a proactive “can do” attitude and willingness to engage in all aspects of work
