This role will support Diabetes manufacturing, R&D and commercial teams in EHS compliance programs and reduce liability. Compliance areas include supporting central hazardous waste collection, wastewater permitting and sampling, LOTO, Job Hazard Analyses, environmental inspections, Haz Comm programs, PPE program, SDS management, Ergonomics, air emission data gathering, and training personnel across Northridge.
The EHS Specialist has general knowledge of and provides for the development and implementation of programs and systems to comply with federal, state and local EHS regulations and Company policies, strategies, initiatives and goals at our site in Northridge, California.
