Responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for critical products that will fortify the position as a leader in the memory industry. Help build and lead a cross-functional team of key representatives from multiple engineering, marketing, and operations organizations to develop the portfolio strategy, optimize the business case of each product, drive products through each stage of Micron’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, and guide the development of new products. Gather, manage, and prioritize key market and customer requirements and act as an advocate articulating their needs to internal teams. Develop and establish the multi-year product strategy, in partnership with cross-functional core teams. Drive the product strategy across functional organizations. Build and optimize the case for each product. Demonstrate and articulate the value proposition across key workloads and use cases. Monitor each stage of the product life cycle from ‘concept creation’ to ‘end of life’ and ensure the timely preparation and presentation of all stage gates and key product decisions. Establish a deep understanding of memory technology trends, system architecture trends and complicated solutions. Foster a comprehensive understanding of key competitor strategies, solutions, and capabilities. Act as the internal spokesperson to represent product strategies and requirements to all relevant collaborators. Build positive relationships with key counterparts at customers, partners, and suppliers. Understand, monitor, and refine internal plans related to the portfolio - including personnel resource, manufacturing, and development activities. Build and coordinate business processes to optimize product management functions.

Position requires travel. May telecommute.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Management Science and Engineering, or related field.

Position also requires:

1. Product management or product development exposure for semiconductor products.

2. Standard methodologies in semiconductor development – related to specification, architecture definition, design implementation, validation/verification, and system integration.

3. Tableau and/or PowerBI

4. Confluence

5. Jira

6. Microsoft Office

7. Product or roadmap planning

8. Product or Operations Strategy

9. Business modeling (including financial analysis or economics)

10. Understanding of market modeling and segmentation including TAM and MSS topics.

11. Data analysis

12. Product and process optimization
