As Architect, you will bring deep expertise in global banking systems and infrastructure, acting as a key technical authority to Monstro’s leadership team and our banking partners. Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership:

  • Design and oversee the architecture of Monstro’s platform, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable integration with global banking systems.

  • Establish best practices for handling sensitive financial data, adhering to international regulatory requirements and standards.

• Banking Infrastructure Expertise:

  • Lead the development of integrations with global bank mainframes, APIs, and legacy systems, ensuring seamless functionality and high performance.

  • Act as a technical liaison with financial institutions, demonstrating Monstro’s capability to deliver world-class solutions.

• Security and Data Governance:

  • Define and enforce robust security protocols to protect user and institutional data, mitigating risks related to breaches and fraud.

  • Implement advanced data governance strategies to ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR, PSD2, and other global standards.

• Collaboration and Mentorship:

  • Work closely with Monstro’s design, engineering, and product teams to align technical architecture with business goals.

  • Mentor technical team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Credibility Building:

  • Represent Monstro’s technical expertise in discussions with bank executives, partners, and investors, building trust through proven experience and deep domain knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience:

  • 10+ years in technology roles, including 4+ years in a senior architect or equivalent position within global banking or fintech organizations.

  • Proven expertise in banking infrastructure, including mainframes, APIs, and data integrations.

• Technical Mastery:

  • Deep understanding of security protocols, encryption standards, and compliance requirements for financial institutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable architectures that integrate modern and legacy banking systems.

• Leadership and Communication:

  • Exceptional skills in engaging with senior executives at financial institutions, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

  • Track record of mentoring technical teams and fostering collaboration across departments.

• Global Perspective:

  • Experience navigating the complexities of banking systems in multiple regions, including Europe, North America, and emerging markets.

• Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture, security, or cloud technologies (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP).
