Job Description

Are you ready for a sneak-peek in the day of a CI/CD DevOps Specialist in Netcompany-Intrasoft?

Joining us as a CI/CD DevOps Specialist, you will be a part of a vibrant team, you are responsible for assuring and monitoring the stability of the platforms.  

As a CI/CD DevOps Specialist you will:

  • Follow-up and ensure the relevant reporting regarding the stability of the platform(s) in coordination with the Level 3 Project Manager
  • Create of SMT PMs/IMs and trigger Jira bridge to create tickets for different Level3 to follow-up of actions
  • Log, categorize and prioritize all incidents, requests, problems and changes
  • Use Zipkin and/or other available tools to investigate failures of E2E monitoring tests and help in the identification of the responsible team/s
  • Ensure a balance of the processes and tools used (Jira/SMT/Service Now boards) for all the projects covered
  • Manage the container-based infrastructure of our services and contribute in improving the service and its infrastructure
  • Restart different micro-services under the different platform
  • Operate on regular bases with UNIX bash and system administration
  • Follow development and release train, continuous integration, and quality tools: XL Release, Git, Maven, JIRA, Bamboo, BitBucket, Confluence
  • Apply best practices of distributed architecture to solve complex integration problems between information systems and K8s microservices
  • Follow infrastructure management using ticketing in SMT/Jira with infrastructure teams
  • Participate in creating a step-by-step Standard Operational Procedures
  • Perform automation scripting

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • University degree in ICT with at least 9 years of working experience in the ICT sector 
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a DevOps role
  • Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal)
  • Capability of rapid self-starting, learning, and of integration in an international/multicultural environment
  • Certifications in DevOps (e.g.  AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or Certified Kubernetes Administrator)

Significative experience in some of the following: 

  • Storage: Oracle, PostGreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, AWS S3, AWS RDS, MongoDB
  • Web: Angular, npm, node JS, JWT, OAuth2, OpenIdConnect, Websocket, REST API, Open API
  • Monitoring: Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK (Kibana), Splunk, Prometheus
  • Middleware: Java: Spring, Springboot, Hibernate, Apache Camel // Apache Kafka: Streaming API, KSQLDB, Confluent Replicator, Kafka Connect // Workflow engine: Camunda, Activiti, Flowable 
  • Testing:  Junit, Webdriver, Selenium, Protractor, JMeter, Loadrunner, Gatlib
  • Application lifecycle management: Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket)
  • GIT: github, gitea, Gitlab
  • XLRelease, XLDeploy, ArgoCD, Jenkins 
  • Automation, Infra as code: Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Rundeck, Jenkins, Python, Shell script
