The opportunity
As a Risk and Compliance Business Partner, you will provide expert advice and oversight on Financial Crime at Netwealth.
In this pivotal role, you will support in mitigating risks related to money laundering, terrorist financing, and financial crime. As a key member of our risk and compliance team, you will drive the implementation, execution, and monitoring of our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) Program, alongside our Fraud Policy and Fraud Control Prevention Plan.
You'll conduct risk assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks, and supporting the implementation of AML/CTF programs. Engaging with stakeholders to address incidents and drive improvements in financial crime prevention processes will be a core function.
About you
We are looking for an experienced Risk and Compliance professional who excels in providing proactive and solution-oriented support to their stakeholders.
Ideally you have at least 5-7 years of experience with a strong, detailed knowledge and understanding in AML/CTF, financial crime and fraud line 2 risk and compliance.
You will be able to manage your time effectively, communicate clearly and persuasively, present confidently and engage with various stakeholders. You will also be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Specifically, skills and experience include.
Experience in financial markets
Experience in compliance reviews and audit
Sound knowledge of relevant financial services laws and regulator expectations (e.g., ASIC/APRA/OAIC)
Ability to analyse data and trends to provide insights and recommendations
