Northrop Grumman is seeking a Engineer / Principal Engineer Electrical.  This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What Youll Get To Do: 

  • The qualified candidate will report to the Team Lead in AVE Integration, Assembly, Test and Checkout.
  • They will design, document, and test cables and or breakout boxes.
  • Conducts LRU interface research, process documents and collaborates with other engineers to determine best design for each set of cables.  
  • Will integrate delivered LRUs under direction of the technical lead.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  

Youll Bring These Qualifications

Engineer Electrical:

  • 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree in a STEM field of study; 0 years with a Masters; Z years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2 Years experience using CAD design tools (NX, CATIA, Capital, etc)
  • 2 Years experience creating PDP or other PLM product.

Principal Engineer Electrical:

  • 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree in a STEM field of study; 3 years with a Masters; 1 years with a PhD.
  • 5 Years experience using CAD design tools (NX, CATIA, Capital, etc)
  • 5 Years experience creating PDP or other PLM product.

Required for both levels:

  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have

Engineer Electrical:

  • 2 Years of experience with electro-mechanical or instrumentation system development and design
  • 2 Years of cable/harness design experience following military, and or aviation standards.

Principal Engineer Electrical:

  • 5 Years of experience with electro-mechanical or instrumentation system development and design
  • 5 Years of cable/harness design experience following military, and or aviation standards.

Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00Salary Range 2: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
