Job Description:
TITLE: Engineer
EMPLOYER: Airbus Americas, Inc.
LOCATION: Mobile, AL
DUTIES: Validate workbook modification, lead troubleshoot meetings, assist with tooling, part configuration validation, training of others, perform nonconformity research and ensure that a complete plan is established for outstanding manufacturing and engineering actions. Establish LDDs for RNCs while investigating engineering workbook modifications and submitting necessary manufacturing changes to Change Managers. Exchange engineering information with multi-functional engineering team in order to ensure a cohesive one team engineering concept. Analyze current production and engineering status’ and create reports
accordingly. Ensure that poly-poly end of year requirements are met and ensure
that all engineering training outlined by HR and Management are completed in a
timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field and 5 years in any job title involving experience in Aerospace Final Assembly Line in commercial aerospace industry. Prior experience must also include: Experience as a project lead on various assignments or initiatives; Working with aerospace process and methods; Working with aerospace tools including SAP, Catia, and Enovia; Experience with aircraft structures, systems, and electrical; and Applying rules for aircraft design and manufacturing. Up to 10% international travel required for work and training.
