Video Editor for Youtube Channel (US-Based, Remote) - Part-time

We are currently seeking a talented and creative Part-time Video Editor to join our client's team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging video content for clients. With your exceptional editing skills and knowledge of current video trends, you will help elevate our clients' brands and drive their online presence.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and optimize video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and X.
  • Expected workload: 1 long-form YouTube video per week and additional shorter videos/clips as needed with preferred turnaround time: 1 week to complete videos
  • Work with provided footage, stock video, and motion graphics to create dynamic and engaging content.
  • Develop video concepts and ideas in collaboration with our team each month.
  • Ensure all videos align with our brand’s aesthetic and messaging.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to enhance content performance.
  • Format and resize content as needed for different platforms and aspect ratios.
  • Add captions, motion effects, and engaging transitions to enhance viewer engagement.
  • Organize and maintain video assets for efficient workflow.
  • Proven experience in video editing for social media (Instagram Reels, TikTok, X).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other professional editing software.
  • Ability to source and integrate stock footage seamlessly with original content.
  • Strong storytelling and pacing skills to create compelling short-form content.
  • Understanding of current video trends, effects, and best practices for social engagement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with our creative team.
  • Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects at once.
