What you’ll be doing?
- Act as technical lead on IT Infrastructure projects
- Provide authoritative technical advice to the IT Operations team, management and stakeholders
- Ownership of technical issues across P2U infrastructure and EUC, proactively develop solutions to problems
- Develop strategic solutions to improve infrastructure and/or reduce IT costs
- Liaising with counterparts across the business, including partner organizations, suppliers, Local IT and other 3rd Parties
- Technical ownership of applications and systems including: Azure, O/M365 Products including security products, Intune, Firewalls, Switches and other infrastructure components.
- Lead on incident investigation
- Any other duties commensurate with the role
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum 5 years+ experience in a technical support role
- In depth experience of owning and operating Azure platforms
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or other MDM solutions
- Experience working with security/logging tools such as Entra, Nessus, ELK, Kibana, LogRhythum, NewRelic, etc
- Strong understanding of networking (CCNA or equivalent highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of cloud environments (particularly Azure)
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows, Linux and MacOS
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers (2016+)
- Strong knowledge of server virtualisation
- Strong knowledge of containerisation
- Proven track record in technical leadership
