Position Summary:

As a member of PointClickCare’s Corporate Development team, you will work closely with the broader team to assist with various projects and prospective transactions. The Senior Analyst will gather, analyze, and synthesize industry, market, competitor, and prospective acquisition target information to deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders that will ultimately drive strategic, tactical, and operational business decisions, including go / no-go decisions around prospective acquisitions.

This position represents a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic, healthcare technology SaaS company and on a highly active and acquisitive Corporate Development team.

This position will report to the VP, Corporate Development. 


Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and evaluate prospective M&A targets on both a quantitative (financial) and qualitative basis
  • Develop and maintain market maps to inform outbound deal sourcing activity
  • Maintain and update the team’s deal tracker, M&A precedents database, and SaaS benchmarks
  • Manage live processes, including developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and diligence trackers
  • Facilitate and conduct primary research to support diligence and thematic deep-dives
  • Work closely with Corporate Strategy team and other stakeholders to align the M&A funnel to strategic priorities
  • Support the development of “client-ready” presentations and financial models
  • Communicate key analytical insights and decisions to stakeholders and senior leaders


Your Key Strengths:
  • Experience in Management Consulting, Private Equity, Venture Capital or Investment Banking
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, including Excel proficiency and knowledge of financial terms and accounting practices
  • Strong knowledge of secondary research and competitive intelligence methodologies and techniques
  • Ability to distill information into a clear, concise, and compelling story that enables stakeholders to make more informed decisions
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • College/University B.A. or B.S. required

$100,100 - $107,600 a year
At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package. The CA base salary range for this position is $100,100 - $107,600 + bonus or commission + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position across all CA locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location. Your recruiter can share more information about our total rewards package during the hiring process.
