Position: Sheet Metal Mechanic – Heavy Industrial

Location: Louisa, VA

Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Compensation: Up to $26/hour, based on skills and experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Press Brake Operations: Expertly bend heavy materials, including pipes up to 3/4", with precision and efficiency.
  • Plate Rolling: Master the art of rolling plates up to 3/8" thick using state-of-the-art rollers.
  • Blueprint Mastery: Skillfully interpret blueprints to determine tooling and procedures for complex bending operations.
  • Tooling Expertise: Select appropriate tools tailored to each material to ensure top-quality results.
  • Precision Setup: Calibrate back gauges with accuracy to streamline bending processes.
